Realizing the health risks caused by childhood obesity, L. Brooks Patterson, Oakland County Executive, decided to do something about it.

L. Brooks Patterson, in collaboration with Oakland County Health Division and community partners, is tackling this epidemic in Oakland County with an exciting program to get Oakland County’s children and families moving and eating right.

The 2010 Count Your Steps Program runs Monday, April 19 - Sunday, May 16, 2010.

The school registration period is
 February 1 - 28, 2010.
